Why bother

Four rules we set after indexing 118 apps

Reading every listing in a category teaches you where the whole category is weak. These are the gaps we kept finding.

Under 15KB, or it does not ship

Every widget we build has a payload budget written into its spec. Indexing 63 apps made one thing obvious: most of the weight on a Shopify product page is framework, not feature.

Theme app blocks only

No script tag injection, no editing theme.liquid during onboarding, no orphaned snippets left behind when you uninstall. You place it in the theme editor and you can remove it the same way.

Honest by default

Countdowns tied to real dates. Stock counters wired to real inventory. No setting anywhere that generates fake activity, because we are not interested in building that.

One price, no revenue share

Flat monthly pricing that does not scale with your success. If a widget earns you more, that is yours.

Does this make the index biased?

It is a fair question and it deserves a direct answer. We do intend to publish our own widget apps, and when we do they will compete with apps listed here.

So, three commitments. Our apps are never ranked in the index. They live on this page only, clearly separated, and we will not place them in a category ranking against apps we also review. We take no money from any vendor listed here — no affiliate links, no sponsored placements, no paid inclusion. And the ratings and review counts are all public, sourced from Shopify App Store listings with a date on every page, so you can check any number we print against the live listing in a few seconds.

If we ever break one of those, the index stops being worth reading, and then this page has nothing to promote.
